THIS AUGUST VERITY WELCH and PAUL RICKETTS of UP THE ARTS COMEDY are involved in two shows as part of the Laughing Horse Free Festival at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Hunter, Shazia Merza and Ronnie Golden amongst others. It's a show that's utterly funny, fairly late, thrillingly live and totally free.

Pretty Dirty Things – comprising Asian Muslim, Sajeela Kershi, British Buddhist, Verity Welch (Hackney Empire finalist in 2002) and London Scot, Maureen Younger (Hackney Empire finalist in 2007) – are bringing their first ever show to Edinburgh this year. Offering their hilarious take on life, love, death and everything in between, their subjects range from gentlemen rapists to using pseudo pregnancy to get a seat on the tube in rush hour! Three different viewpoints, three funny women!
